[SMM News] Nickel Mining area has no impact for the time being after a magnitude 5.5 earthquake in the central Philippines

SMM3, March 2: according to the Philippine Institute of Volcano Seismology, at about 05:19 on March 2, a magnitude 5.5 earthquake occurred near Leyte City, Leyte Province in the central Philippines, with a epicenter of 11.33 degrees north latitude and 124.54 degrees east longitude, with a focal depth of 9 kilometers. The damage is expected to be accompanied by aftershocks. Local schools have been closed, according to Philippine media reports.

According to SMM, the Philippine nickel mining area as shown in the following figure, the earthquake occurred in the central Leyte province Leyte city from the mining area has a certain distance, no impact for the time being.
